Hostel Humanity is the result of Sophie’s dream. She grew up with her worker’s parents and her sister in France. At the age of 21, she worked in the USA and she was 22 years old when she started an 8,500 kilometers road trip from Washington DC until El Salvador. During that road trip, she stopped by Cancun in Mexico and used all her savings to buy a land in Puerto Morelos, as an investment. After working 3 years in Paris; in 2015, Sophie, who had the dream to open her own tourist establishment since she was 18, decided to use her Mexican land to build HOSTEL HUMANITY. She left alone France, her family and friends to start her life and project in Mexico. She finally got the construction permit after one year and half of patience and hard work to get what she needed. The construction of the hostel started in July 2016 and opened its door in January 2017 for the biggest enjoyment of Sophie.
